Mycelium is the vegetative body and root system for fungi. They form vast networks in the soil, around plant roots and play an important role in ecosystems.
Mycelium is the underground, communication network of the forest, working symbiotically to facilitate the exchange of nutrients and sugars.
This collage is inspired by the documentary film Fantastic Fungi about the magical and medicinal world of mushrooms, and their power to heal, sustain and contribute to the regeneration of life on Earth.
