I recently completed three-years of formal study of Hellenistic Astrology. This collection contains collage art inspired by astrology, the planets and myths or where astrological influences found their way into the art either consciously or subconsciously.
Astrology is a symbolic language that has been guiding humanity for millennia. In the astrological tradition, the planets represent archetypes or universal principles that shape human experiences. Archetypal patterns and cycles appear consistently through time and can operate externally as events, and internally as human psychology.
This art reflects an understanding of our place in the world and our connection to a greater collective experience and consciousness.
