This is the fifth collage in a series of art expressing the mythic and archetypal energies of the planets in our solar system.

Mercury is a terrestrial planet with a surface marked by impact craters. It is the smallest planet with the shortest year at 88 Earth days.

Mercury is the fastest moving planet and named after the swift-footed Roman messenger god. The astrological symbol is based on the Hermes’ caduceus.

The planet is associated with curiosity, puzzles, wordplay and has inclinations towards the rational, unemotional and opportunistic.

It governs communication, education, technology, travel, commerce, divination, magic, peer relationships, and contracts.
