- Year: January 2023
- Collection: Astrological Inspiration
This collage is the first in a visual art series that explores the planetary archetypes and myths for various celestial bodies in our solar system.
Saturn is the second-largest planet in our solar system, and the 6th planet from the Sun, with a solar orbit of 29.4 Earth years.
In Roman mythology, Saturn was an agricultural deity who oversaw the harvest. For ancient Greeks, Kronos/Saturn was the God of eternal time and is connected with the seasons.
Saturn, the warden of the abyss, is associated with the state, integrity, order, structure, karma, boundaries, elders and cycles of time.
